Activities Related to Humanizing Medicine

Clinical Care: I provide longitudinal care for people with chronic kidney disease.

Education: I am developing the outpatient dialysis curriculum for nephrology trainees. Materials focus on a person-centered approach to dialysis prescriptions and management.

Research: I conduct research focused on implementation of patient-reported outcome assessments in routine nephrology care. or the past 30 years, I have conducted research on medical education in hopes of improving the ways that medical trainees are coached towards becoming clinically excellent.
