How micro grants work
Micro grant applicants are challenged to tell a compelling, structured story about their idea to humanize patient care. Applications are reviewed by a multidisciplinary team of nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and public health experts. The proposals are scored on feasibility, benefit, and impact on patient care. Funded projects reflect the diversity in units, teams, and services across Johns Hopkins Medicine – nurses, physicians, medical residents, and volunteer services are represented as project leads.
